Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ChessArena ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Game.

Account Registration

To access certain features of the Game, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Not share your account with others

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use cheats, exploits, automation, bots, or any unauthorized third-party software
  • Engage in harassment, abuse, or toxic behavior toward other players
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Game or other users' accounts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Game
  • Use the Game for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Game or servers
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

Intellectual Property

The Game and all content, features, and functionality are owned by ChessArena and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

In-Game Purchases

The Game may offer virtual items for purchase. You understand that:

  • Virtual items have no real-world value
  • Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may modify or discontinue virtual items at any time
  • Virtual items cannot be transferred or sold outside the Game

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Extended period of inactivity
  • Any other reason at our sole discretion

Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Game will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Game is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Your gameplay data will be preserved indefinitely

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessArena shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Game.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Game shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
